This course explores selected emerging issues and topics in the field of computer science. Topics may include Software Engineering, Human Factors in Software Design, Computers and Society, Complexity Theory, Concurrent/Parallel programming, Artificial Intelligence, Expert Systems, Computer Simulations, and Operations Research. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required. Repeatable: May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours. Prerequisite: CSC 36000 ; six credit hours of CSC courses numbered 30000-level or higher.
