GE-Communication This course introduces foundational skills and concepts for effective public speaking and the preparation and delivery of a variety of presentations. Subjects include audience analysis, researching speech topics, citation of sources, ethical speaking, as well as extemporaneous and impromptu delivery. Students will create speaking outlines, produce visual aids and participate in peer evaluation. It will also provide the tools to thoughtfully examine speech content and develop critical listening skills.
