Catalog description

This course examines the roles and responsibilities of the producer and production manager in film and video production. Graduate students will engage critically and practically with the processes of development, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of cast and crew in guiding a project from concept through to completion. Emphasis is placed on mastering complex production and distribution workflows as well as applying analysis of the organizational structure of media production. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required.
