GE-Human Culture: Arts/Human Diversity This course will survey the history, theories, debates, and major creative figures that have characterized African American cinema. It will look at African American contributions to cinema while observing how these films have handled representations of race, class, gender, and social issues. Prerequisite: ENGL 17000 .
