GE-Natural Science with Lab This course provides a survey of organic and biochemistry. Topics include physical properties and reactions of organic molecules containing alcohols, thiols, ethers, and carbonyl based functional groups. Biochemistry topics covered will be: carbohydrates, lipids, amines, amino acids, proteins, and enzymes. Laboratory work is included. Prerequisite: CHM 18100 .
