GE-Communication In today’s hyperlinked and data-flooded digital world, there are many tools we can use to enhance our research and publication abilities. This course will introduce you to digital tools most often used for research in the areas of languages, history, the arts, and more; skills which are transferable to research in any discipline. We will learn how we can study text and data to ask research questions, learn how to use digital tools to analyze text and data, and how to eventually publish utilizing those tools. No previous computer experience required. Prerequisite: ENGL 17000 with a C or better.
