The course is a study of classical and modern genetics, including Mendelian inheritance, the genetic code, gene interactions, gene control, and population genetics. Prerequisite: BSC 24400 with a C or better; either ( MTH 24100 with a C or better) or ( MTH 14100 and MTH 24000 with a C or better.)
