GE-Natural Science with Lab This course introduces students to the concept of biological evolution, and the various mechanisms by which it can occur. Biodiversity is explored through the lens of evolution, covering taxonomy, morphology, and life cycles of the prokaryotes, protists, fungi, plants, and animals. Ecological themes build from interactions within a species to interactions involving multiple species and the environment. Prerequisite: MTH 11000 .
