Catalog description

Students will learn the biomechanical reasons and diagnoses that require orthotics to be prescribed and the basics of biomechanical evaluations. Students will be exposed to step-by-step procedures of casting, constructing and grinding of a foot orthosis. Prerequisite: Six credit hours of GE-Natural Science or GE-Natural Science with Lab courses; sophomore standing.
