This course is designed to help students understand the nature of auditing with an emphasis on techniques and issues as applied by Certified Public Accountants, including audit data analytics. Professional standards, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, legal liabilities of auditors, and specific auditing techniques will be explored. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required. Prerequisite: ACCT 31040 with a C or better. Corequisite: ACCT 41021 .
