Introduction to Data Analytics for Accounting

Catalog description

The student will learn the basics of data analytics and examine ways spreadsheets and data visualization tools are used to analyze data for both financial and managerial accounting. The course is designed to enhance the student’s ability to use spreadsheets and data visualization to make decisions using data. Software Certification options will be presented and encouraged. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required. Prerequisite: ACCT 21011 with a C or better.
