Catalog description

This course explores the role information managers play in the development and use of event-driven information systems. Topics discussed focus on the risks and controls associated with the business processes. Students will be introduced to accounting software for data modeling and relational databases. In addition, the course includes analysis of accounting information using spreadsheets and data visualizations. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required. Prerequisite: ACCT 21011 , ENGL 17000 , and MGMT 24000 all with a C or better.
