Catalog description

This course is a continuation of Swahili 1001, designed for students who have completed the first semester of the language. Students will further develop communication skills in Swahili by expanding on essential vocabulary, grammatical structures, and cultural contexts relevant to Swahili-speaking regions of East Africa through engagement with literary and analytical texts, as well as oral narratives. This course offers students a functional understanding of the diverse linguistic, literary, and cultural variations in Swahili-speaking nations and communities. Mathematical Sciences
