Catalog description

This course covers fundamentals of waves including refection, refraction, interference, diffraction, and polarization of waves with special emphasis on optics. Special emphasis is placed on optics. Lenses and mirrors are discussed. Three hours lecture per week are required. Prerequisites: PHY 1006. Corequisite: MAT 1022
