Catalog description
Information technology (IT) is concerned with integrating computer systems and software packages to process and manage information. This introductory course gives students a broad understanding of using various IT tools to improve organizational productivity and the bottom line. Students will develop a good knowledge of computer technology, information systems, database management, systems analysis and design, spreadsheet analysis, design and implementation of systems, and the linkages of these disparate information technologies to support individual, group, and corporate goals. Students will execute group and individual computer assignments and be exposed to ERP software technologies. Prerequisite: MGT 3035; co-requisite: INF 2010
