Catalog description
The course is designed to develop strong communication skills. It offers a rapid review of basic French grammar and introduces students to more advanced structures needed to acquire better proficiency. Classroom activities progress from drills to exercises of a more communicative approach. The course continues to introduce students to the richness and diversity of francophone culture. The course requires three hours of lecture per week and one hour of instruction in the language laboratory. Prerequisite: FRE 1002.
