Catalog description
This course presents a working knowledge of core financial concepts that entrepreneurs need to understand to operate their business enterprises. Rather than a consideration of the large organization, the focus is on sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies, and private corporations. Traditional corporate finance topics are covered and expanded to include retirement plan and investment decisions, financial planning, and risk management. Cases studies will supplement class lectures. Prerequisites: ACC 2005, ETP 2020
