Catalog description
This course introduces student to literature written by women representing at least two continents and covering at least two centuries of development. It identifies the emergence of women’s literature in the traditional canon and place literary achievement in the context of historical development of women’s political and social rights. Important primary documents related to women’s rights are examined. Prerequisite: ENG 1002
