Catalog description

This course serves as an introduction to fundamental economic concepts and analysis, the determinants of the aggregate level of economic activity in a mixed economy, and fiscal and monetary policy. This includes the analysis of individuals, households, and firms' decision making to allocate resources. Along with consideration of pricing, market inefficiencies, inflation, employment and the business cycle. Prerequisites: MAT 1001, MAT 1002, MAT 1006, MAT 1010, or BES 1010
