Catalog description

This course focuses on fundamental design concepts shared by the three-dimensional visual arts. Through studio problems, students will become familiar with three-dimensional design concepts, construction processes, and the manipulation of materials to create structural forms. Students will develop and understanding of the qualities of line, shape, mass, volume, spatial relationships, and surface as they apply to the three-dimensional form.
