Catalog description

This course begins with a thorough review of basic Arabic grammar and vocabulary. The review serves to consolidate knowledge and to bring students to a common level. The main thrust is the acquisition and expansion of vocabulary, mainly through discussions and extensive readings. Attention is also given to writing skills. Three hours of classroom instruction per week as well as one hour in the language and computer. Prerequisite: ARA 1002.
