Catalog description
This course introduces the principles and clinical application of the Gonstead chiropractic system of analysis and adjustment. Students examine biomechanical concepts underlying vertebral subluxation, radiographic and physical examination findings, and the rationale for segment-specific correction. Laboratory sessions develop proficiency in Gonstead adjusting procedures, including thoracic, lumbar, pelvic, and cervical techniques using side posture, knee-chest, and cervical chair setups.
