Catalog description

This laboratory course covers genitourinary health topics throughout the lifespan as well as common gynecological, urogenital, and proctological conditions. Obstetrical examination procedures and common findings will be introduced. Emphasis will be placed on clinical evaluation and the development of psychomotor skills performing gynecological, urogenital, and proctological exams. Ten (10) gynecological and ten (10) urogenital and proctological examinations will be performed on male and female mannequins in the lab.
