Catalog description

This course presents the student clinician with a working knowledge of the fundamental components of addiction, pharmacology and patient management and how this related to disorders of the human organism including vertebral subluxation. Emphasis is placed on the role chiropractic care can play in the management of addictions. Common medication, contraindications, and alternatives are considered. The neurological mechanisms of addictions are reviewed in detail.
