Catalog description

Prerequisite: CLIN 3609 (10th quarter student or above) This course offers the comprehensive study of the assessment and management of traumas and medical emergencies that occur in sports. The course focuses on the life-threatening conditions that occur to the head, neck, chest, abdomen and spinal cord. Physiological, environmental and physical processes that lead to these life-threatening injuries are examined.
