Catalog description

This course provides practical training in real-world coaching practices, emphasizing the International Coaching Federation's (ICF) 8 core competencies. Students explore and practice the art of coaching from emotional, behavioral, and cognitive perspectives, focusing on skills applicable to personal growth, health, workplace, and organizational settings. Key topics include ethical guidelines, creating coaching agreements, building rapport, active listening, powerful questioning, and effective communication. The course integrates reflective learning, buddy coaching, coaching case scenarios, coaching exercises, and script development.
