Catalog description
(Prerequisite: ENG 101) This course covers the basic concepts in medical terminology for the health care sciences. Students will combine prefixes, roots and suffixes into the healthcare vocabulary necessary for a healthcare provider. Medical terms used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases will also be discussed.
