This course offers a comprehensive study of the assessment and management of traumas and medical emergencies that occur in sports. The course focuses on the life-threatening conditions that occur to the head, brain/concussion, neck, chest, abdomen, and spinal cord. Physiological, environmental, and physical processes that lead to these life-threatening injuries are examined.
