(Prerequisite: MSHS-6000) This course examines the effects of aging and exercise on the fitness and health of aging individuals. Topics discussed include theories of aging the interaction of aging and disease processes, and the effects of aging and exercise on body composition, cardio-respiratory function, muscular strength and endurance, and cognition.
