(Prerequisite: MGT 301) This course is an introduction of major topical areas in personnel. Particular emphasis is placed on the functional areas that form the major occupational categories in personnel. It includes basic concepts in employment planning, selection and placement, training and development, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, health, safety and security.
