Catalog description

This introductory course is designed to introduce the following: anatomical terminology (especially relating to the skeletal system), gross anatomy of bone, specific names of all human bones (including surface landmarks, markings, and openings), development of bone, bone histology, hormonal regulation of bone growth, and bone healing. Joints of both the axial and appendicular skeleton will be covered, including categories of structure, function, and range-of-motion.
