This course in an in-depth regional study of the embryology, histology, and anatomy of the thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and perineum based on laboratory dissections utilizing virtual anatomy. Emphasis is placed on the peripheral nerve pathways and interrelationships between form at the gross and microscopic levels in tissues, organs, and organ systems. This course is designed to study the development of the human body from earliest embryonic to fetal stages. tissues, organs, and organ systems are emphasized. Teratology and genetic principles are included.
