Catalog description

This course is an in-depth regional study of the embryology, histology, and anatomy of the thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and perineum. Emphasis is placed on the peripheral nerve pathways and interrelationships between form and function at the gross and microscopic levels in tissues, organs, and organ systems. This course is designed to study the development of the human body from earliest embryonic to fetal stages with tissues, organs, and organ systems emphasized. Teratology and genetic principles are included.
