Methods and Issues in Theology

Catalog description

This course exposes students to key issues in the nature of theological methodology and theological discourse. This course will also explore key hermeneutical systems (e.g., dispensationalism and covenant theology) as they bear on theological methodology, as well as providing students with the tools for contextualization and discerning between cultural, ethical, and theological questions facing evangelical Christians (e.g., biblical inerrancy, creation, church government, sign gifts, the church and racial reconciliation, biblical view of gender, etc.).
