Theology of Race and Culture

Catalog description

This course provides a theological and biblical framework for understanding critical issues related to race, ethnicity, and culture in an increasingly multi-ethnic and multi-cultural world. Consideration is given to such issues as contemporary race tension, individualism versus collectivism, socio-economic and class struggles, and ethnocentrism, in light of the responsibility of the church and the gospel.
