An orientation to the profession, consideration of professional ethics, introduction to basic cardiopulmonary assessment and life support techniques, infections control, medical record, hospital environment and role of the respiratory therapist. Registration Restrictions: Admission to Respiratory Therapy program and Junior/Senior status.
