Catalog description

Resident Prerequisite: NURS 305 Online Prerequisite: NURS 350 Continued exploration of clinical drug therapy with emphasis on the knowledge and interventions needed to maximize therapeutic effects and prevent or minimize adverse effects of drugs. Major areas of study include groups of therapeutic drugs, their application in disease-process management, and their effects. Legal and professional issues surrounding the safe administration of medications are discussed. Human responses to drug therapy and application of the nursing process in relation to prescribed drug therapy regimens are discussed.
