Survey of Songwriting Literature

Catalog description

An introduction to the craft, development and history of songwriting. Attention will be given to the study and evaluation of song form, both historic and contemporary. General techniques of songwriting and the specific approaches of selected songwriters will be explored in connection with biblical doctrine and theologies, music practices, and worship practices in the Evangelical community.
