Global Experience

Catalog description

This experiential learning course gives students the opportunity to engage in cultural training, global travel, intercultural interaction, and guided reflection of their experience. It requires immersion in a global context for the purpose of learning cultural values, navigating culture stress, identifying opportunities for service, and evaluating intercultural careers. Registration Restrictions: A student must have been accepted through LU Send and the Department of Global and Intercultural Engagement for the Global Experience class OR have received written approval from the professor of GICE 380 for an alternative international experience. It is the student's responsibility to make up any prerequisite deficiencies, as stated in the Liberty University Catalog, which would prevent the successful completion of this course.
