Catalog description

This course will provide a high-level overview of the critical history of some ecological environmental impacts in our world. Specific environmental disasters and crises will be discussed regarding the eventual development of U.S. Federal and Global Organizations which have promulgated the regulations and standards in place today. Responsible and successful environmental management practices, tactics and standards will be surveyed in detail, including the eventual development of the Global ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard. The student will learn best practice methods of efficiently and effectively managing hazardous wastes of all types. The course will provide an opportunity for the student to understand ways to synthesize a Biblical Worldview into environmental management.
