Media Production Foundations

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the essential tools, software, and best practices of media production through hands-on training in cameras, audio, lighting, and University safety protocols. Students will learn industry-leading editing software applications and digital pipeline workflows while defining key terminology and describing non-linear editing processes. Emphasis is placed on developing applied skills and Media Lab readiness that prepare students for advanced production coursework.
