Catalog description

This course introduces artificial intelligence through rational agents that represent knowledge, search, and make decisions under uncertainty. Designed to complement material covered in CSCN 421 , the course covers heuristic/adversarial search, constraint satisfaction & planning, logical inference (propositional/first-order), and probabilistic reasoning with Bayesian & temporal models and Markov Decision Processes/Partially Observable MDPs, with attention to ethics and multi-agent systems.
