Catalog description

This course is all about telling compelling stories through the use of still images. This is not just another photography course, though it will use still photography as the main tool of communication. Students will aspire to create images that are consistent in both content and quality with those used in both the online and print media. The course will include coverage of the historical, ethical, legal and artistic issues associated with professional photojournalism. Course participants will gain valuable, real-world type experience into what it's like working in the modern, digital media environment. Note: May be taken twice for credit.
