SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE FOUNDATIONS

Catalog description

Provides an introduction to, and overview of, practice skills, methods, problem-solving, and critical thinking processes necessary to generalist social work practice with diverse populations. The course consists of lecture, laboratory components to facilitate integration of values, ethics, knowledge and skills based in work with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. Pre-requisite: SW-140 or permission of instructor. This course may include DEI-related content.
