INTRODUCTION TO WOMENS STUDIES

Catalog description

Introduction to Women's Studies concentrates on understanding how women have both been shaped by and have shaped the world around them. By studying women's place and status in society, this course provides a critical lens through which to view the role of sex and gender in larger social forces through a variety of contexts. Pre-requisite: Any 100-level ANTH, HIST, POLS, SS or SOC course. This course may include DEI-related content. If you are taking this class as a program or graduation requirement, you may work with your advisor to find an alternative class.
