Catalog description
First Year Foundations is a discussion-based course for first-time college students. It will introduce students to academic inquiry, critical thinking, campus policies/culture, and connecting to the college community. Each course will address areas of social engagement, academic/career preparedness, and wellness. Faculty from many academic or service-related departments will teach the course. Students will have the opportunity to explore topics from a variety of perspectives while developing the skills that they need to succeed in college and beyond.
