Catalog description
This course provides an introduction and general knowledge of the subfield of psychology known as Industrial/Organization (I/O) psychology. It will cover labor law, the behavior of employees in the workplace and methods that may be used to improve morale, productivity, communication, and decision making. Students will be exposed to both applied and research aspects of this subfield and develop expectations of what it is like to work in human resources as well as what it is like to be an I/O researcher.
