THE ANCIENT WORLD

Catalog description

This student-research oriented course will examine selective aspects of the Ancient World (3500 BCE - 500 CE). Although some lecture will be provided, this course will be organized as a roundtable discussion of assigned readings and videos. Each student will develop a supervised historical research project on some aspect of the Ancient World. Pre-requisites: ENGL-102 or ENGL-109 ; and completion of Social Science Core; or permission of instructor.
