The linguistic and cultural dimensions of health and health care are examined through comparisons of traditional and 'Western' medical systems. Topics include world view, values, stress and development, and social organization. This course may include DEI-related content. If you are taking this class as a program or graduation requirement, you may work with your advisor to find an alternative class.
