Catalog description

Continues principles and operations of gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) with emphasis on laboratory experience. Includes safety review, set-up, operations, fillet and groove welds in 1F, 2F, 3F, 1G, and 2G positions on austenitic stainless steel and aluminum.<BR>Prerequisite: WELD 231. <BR>(PCS 1.2, 3 credit hours: 1 hour lecture, 4 hours lab)
